The Garden Route is an area of outstanding natural beauty, offering local and international visitors ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors: hiking, cycling, golf, bird watching, paragliding, swimming, not forgetting the unique ‘fynbos’ or fine bush which can only be found in South Africa. World famous golf courses at Fancourt or Pinnacle Point, the Outeniqua mountain range, or the Knysna indigenous forests are all accessible from Cape Footprints. The award winning Wild Oats Community farmers’ market is a mere 10mins from the house and the area boasts ample high quality restaurants.
